Why should a local business person join a networking club?  Specifically, why would they join the Business Association of Columbia?

By joining BAC club you will...

1.  Increase Your Visibility

In BAC you will get to know a couple of dozen like-minded local business people.

2.  Offer a Value Proposition

You will be able to demonstrate the value of your offerings to your new colleagues.  In turn, they will be able to recommend you to their clients.

3.  Establish Credibility and Expertise

Nobody hires anybody that they don't trust.  By working with other BAC members, you will be able to educate the group on key facets of your industry thus demonstrating your credibitity and expertise.

4.  Build Strong Professional Relationships

Any business person who survives in the long term needs support.  Let the BAC become a ravenous sales team...pushing referrals to you on a regular basis.

5.  Become a "go-to" guy for your clients

Ever have a client ask you if you work on "xyz" but you don't.  I don't know about you but I never like to give a plan "NO" answer.  As a BAC member you will be able to say "no, but I know a great, trustworthy person who is in that business.  Can I have her call you?"  That's a much better answer.

6.  Lock Out Your Direct Competitors

Only one company per field is allowed into the club.

7.  Increase Your Profits

More leads + more salespeople + more business = more money in your pocket.

Our Objective: "To provide business information within this association as soon as possible so that members will be in an advantageous position to offer their services to a prospect prior to their competition doing so."

As small business people (owners, sales people, marketing professionals, etc) we regularly interact with members of the business community.  Often we are making sales calls on prospects or existing customers.  Our goal is to provide exceptional service and delight our clients.  As such we hope to create a lucrative and long-lasting business relationship.  That benefits us personally, but also benefits our associates.  As a "trusted advisor" to our clients, we are in a unique position to recommend other service providers, such as YOU, to our clients as the need arises.
